Here’s how weminder works, using two example users: Bea, a top, and her bottom Neil.
Behavior — reinforce what matters
The behavior chart is the heart of weminder, and it’s where Bea and Neil keep track of how Neil is doing.
Either of them can log what happened. Only Bea decides what it counts for — she scores it, and she sets the magnitude. Rewards and corrections are hers to give, drawn from what the two of them have already agreed on.
That’s the one place in weminder where the two of you aren’t equals, and it’s deliberate. Judgment is the top’s job. Everything else here is shared.
Reference — keep what’s yours
A shelf of private notebooks that both of them can read and write: rules, agreements, ideas, wish lists, whatever belongs to the two of them.
Both can edit. weminder keeps you from overwriting each other, so you can both work on the same notebook without losing anything.
Moods — say how you’re really doing
Either of them can post a mood, at any time.
Neil can tell Bea he’s struggling without having to open the conversation. Bea can do the same. Some things are easier to mark than to say out loud, and a mood gives the other person a way in.
Tasks — responsibility runs both ways
Either of them can add a task to the library, and tasks can be completed by either partner. Bea’s commitments live here alongside Neil’s.
The Today pane shows what’s due, and whoever did it marks it done.
Tasks aren’t behaviors. A task is something you said you’d do — it’s finished or it isn’t. A behavior is something Bea forms a judgment about. Keeping them apart is what stops the chart from turning into a chore list.
On both your phones
weminder is coming to iPhone and Android. You and your partner don’t need to be on the same platform.
Only one of you needs to pay. When either partner upgrades, the whole chart gets the upgraded features — so nobody’s locked out of their own relationship because they didn’t buy the right tier.
One dynamic needs one chart, and that’s covered on the free tier.
Plus tier users can modify their chart with additional features.
Deluxe is for people who keep more than one — as many charts as you need, each with its own rules and its own history, and all additional features included, too.
