Privacy Policy for weminder
Effective Date: 8/23/2026
-
weminder (“weminder”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a relationship accountability tool designed for consensual use between legally consenting adults.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
-
a. Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
Account information such as your email address, display name, pronouns, and profile icon, provided during registration and editable at any time.
Authentication identifiers (via secure login providers)
b. User-Generated Content
weminder allows users to create and share content, including:
Text entries (e.g., behaviors, notes, messages)
Voice recordings (audio notes)
Interaction data within shared charts
This content is created by users and may be shared with other participants in a chart.
c. Device information
We store a device push token if you enable notifications, so we can deliver them. That's the only device-level information we hold, and it's deleted with your account.
We do not collect device type, usage data, feature interactions, crash logs, or diagnostic identifiers. See "We don't track you" above.
d. Notifications Data
If you enable notifications, we may store:
Push notification tokens
Notification preferences
-
We don't track you.
weminder sends no telemetry of any kind. No analytics, no crash reporting, no performance monitoring, no in-app messaging, no remote configuration. On iOS, Android, and web alike, we collect nothing about how you use the app — not which screens you open, not how long you stay, not whether the app crashed.
The only data we hold is what you and your partner enter: your charts, logged behaviors, tasks, moods, and reference notes. It's stored so the two of you can see it, and for no other purpose.
If this ever changes, we'll say so here and explain why before it takes effect. We won't add tracking quietly.
Note that this describes the weminder app. Our website uses standard Squarespace visitor statistics.
-
We use collected information to:
Provide and operate the app’s core functionality
Enable communication and interaction between users
Store and deliver voice notes and user content
Send push notifications (if enabled)
-
Data is stored using secure cloud services (e.g., Google Firebase)
Communications are encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
Access to data is restricted based on user permissions within the app
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
-
We do not sell your personal data.
We only share data:
With other users you explicitly interact with (e.g., shared charts)
With service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting)
-
You can:
Edit or delete your content within the app
Stop using the app at any time
If you would like your account deleted, contact us at: info@weminder.app
-
weminder is intended only for legally consenting adults (18+).
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
-
weminder allows users to create and share personal and relationship-related content.
Users are responsible for the content they create and share within the app.
-
weminder uses third-party services such as:
Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, and push notification delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging)
Apple and Google notification services
These services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies.
-
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

Data is retained only as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (either through the in-app Delete Account function or by contacting us), all of your personal data, chart content, voice notes, and reference documents are deleted immediately. There is no grace period, no soft-delete, and no recovery window.
A few things outlive your account:
Referral codes you generated remain redeemable by new users after your account is deleted. Your identity as the code's creator is removed — new redeemers still receive their referred benefits, but no user information about you remains linked to the code.
If our support team ever took an action on your account at your request — resetting a password, for example — we keep a record of that action for accountability. Your email address is removed from that record within 12 months of account deletion; the timestamp and an internal identifier remain.
Our hosting provider retains an internal user identifier in operational server logs for approximately 30 days. These logs contain no name, email address, or content.
